This is my Mirage to Hard Rock Hotel transformation update taken on Monday, February 03, 2025. Today, I start the video across the street at the Venetian Hotel. You can see that there is a lot going on. We can see they have 3 different cranes lifting items into place. The two cranes in the front are lifting rebar and forms into the Guitar tower area. There was a third crane that was lifting a steel beam on the south side of the site next to Caesars Palace. This was the old pool area. I will try to get out here later this week to check out what is happened on the pool side. There is a lot of crew working on the Guitar tower area. More and more rebar has been installed. The jib can also be called a luffer. A luffer is a jib that’s longer. It’s used because it has a long reach to move lighter weight materials over a longer distance so the main boom doesn’t angle down too much, which if it did, could topple over
