The family of a 25-year-old man accused of being in a deadly shootout with a North Las Vegas Police Officer identified the suspect as Alexander Mathis.
News 3 was the first to report the identification after speaking with family on Misty View Ct, the street where police said Officer Jason Roscow, 46, and Mathis exchanged gunfire on Feb. 4 after 2:15 p.m. which resulted in their deaths.

The police and prosecutors are probably hard at work doctoring and heavily redacting any bodycam footage until it fits their story. I am sure the police escalated this situation as they usually do. Why don't we have the BWC footage yet? it's been 3 days since the shooting. What is the State trying to hide this time???
