This is Excalibur Las Vegas & people love to hate on our city’s castle themed resort, but I think it’s a fine affordable option with large, clean rooms & a great pool. It is dated & often full of families with kids, but for the price if you’re on a budget, it’s a reliably inexpensive choice. #vegas #lasvegas #vegasstardish #vegashotel #vegaslocal
Excalibur isn’t a luxury stay by any stretch of the imagination, but it’s often in the top three least expensive properties on the strip. If you’re on a budget or traveling with kids, this is a perfectly adequate stay in a safe, clean part of the strip. The bad? Expect furniture & fixtures to be dated, check in lines to be lengthy & elevators to be slow. Upside? There are plenty of cheap shows & food on property, fun medieval theming & large clean pools. The next several months on the Google Availability Calendar have many nights at $14-$17 before resort fees & taxes. Have you stayed here? Let me know & follow me for all the Vegas.
I remember when I went to Las Vegas a prostitute on the street asked me where I was staying, and I said Excalibur. She said nothing and moved on.
Excalibur is just fine. Obviously, it isn't super fancy but it has everything I need for a decent price.
I like Excalibur, it is basic but it's also easy going. My only complaint is that I have never, ever gotten comped a room with a good view.
