Blueface, the rapper, was fined $13 million for the strip club shooting.
Johnathan Jamall Porter, better known as Blueface, has been ordered by a Las Vegas court to pay the proprietor of the Euphoric Gentlemen’s Club about $13.1 million in damages. The proprietor of the club in question alleged that the October 2022 shooting that occurred outside the institution was directly attributable to Blueface.

The rapper Blueface, who is well known for his single “Thotiana,” was previously given a plea deal of up to three years of probation for attempted murder charges resulting from the shooting outside the strip club. A man was hurt in the incident.

The rapper grabbed news once again for his flashy behavior during a Los Angeles Rams home game held at SoFi Stadium, despite his ongoing legal problems. As scantily clad women danced around him, Blueface was spotted tossing money into his luxury box. He also popped the question to his girlfriend Jaidyn Alexis there.

The club owner suffered approximately $13.1 million in damages as a result of the shooting, and a judge in Las Vegas has ordered Blueface to pay for those losses. The court ordered payment for lost income and other incident-related expenses. Two and a half months after the incident, in December 2022, the club owner’s legal team sued Blueface in court. They said the rapper’s carelessness, malice, or recklessness caused the venue to close.

The strip club owner had asked the court for declaratory relief, indemnification and contribution, and annoyance in his case, and he was awarded $13,072,482. The sum also includes miscellaneous costs, such as salary ($84,000) and real estate lease payments ($198,000).

The proprietor of the strip joint, who has identified Blueface as a defendant in two separate civil lawsuits stemming from the shooting, has asked the court for a summary judgment.

In a different case, Blueface admitted guilt for the 2022 shooting-related charges of battery and discharging a firearm. Prosecutors agreed to remove attempted murder and weapons possession charges in exchange for his guilty plea. During his probationary period, which could last up to 36 months, Blueface is not allowed to possess weapons or use intoxicating substances. He is also prohibited from having any kind of contact with Kentabius Traylor, the victim in this case, or visiting the Las Vegas Strip or Downtown Las Vegas unless it is for work-related purposes.

The victim, Traylor, had already waved down police following the incident and reported that members of Blueface’s crew had opened fire on him and his vehicle. He was unhappy with the light punishment given to the rapper, believing it to be a result of Blueface’s celebrity and fortune. Traylor said the shooting had destroyed his faith in the legal system and severely limited his opportunities in life.

In November 2022, Blueface was apprehended in Las Vegas for his alleged involvement in the shooting.

The rapper has had his share of legal troubles and controversies, but this latest ruling is a huge financial blow. Blueface has not made any public statements regarding the verdict.
